Mr. Chunming DONG has more than 30 years of experience in policy study, market study, information and consulting service in aluminum and magnesium industries. He has economics background, and ever worked for Antaike (http://www.antaike.com) for 10 years as VP in charge of Aluminum & Magnesium department. He established his own consulting company, Sunlight Metal Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd in 2005 and the trading company, BPMT, in 2011. He personally participated in the development of aluminum industry in China. And he cares about the sustainable development of aluminum industry with all his heart. For foreigners, he is well known as “Mr. Aluminum in China”.
As co-owner of BPMT, Chris Li graduated from USTB and got his master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 2001. He joined Antaike as aluminum market analyst after graduation and met Mr. Dong Chunming as his job interviewer. And then worked for Alcan for 8 years as manager of Alcan International Network Beijing office in charging of international trading and sales. He received a lot of trainings during his time with Alcan. And business range was quite wide including aluminum rolled products (for aerospace, railcar, canstock and so on), special alumina, master alloys, aluminum ingots for car parts, Novelis PAE degasser and so on. Then he built the trading company, BPMT, together with Mr. DONG. And he is in charging of management, business development, trading, as well as part of sales. During these years, he had developed many products including raw materials, techniques and equipment, from which he has also learned a lot.
Fred Li has more than more than 20 years of experience in different roles as potroom operator, PTM (pot tending machine) driver, sales and sourcing manager in four aluminum smelters, before he joined BMPT in 2014. He has a very good understanding of the whole process of smelter operation as well as the process of material and equipment procurement in China. He is based in Chengdu, Sichuan province, and in charge of the market in South-west China.
Ms. Lena HE joined Alcan International Network in 2008 and then joined BPMT in 2011. She is in charge of the commercial part of our businesses including order follow-up, customs clearance, goods delivery, payment, invoice and so on. She is very experienced in international trading and can always help our suppliers or customers to solve related problems in a prompt and smart way.
